A better designed grommet for a better-than-factory Rhodes.

We worked with an American rubber manufacturer to make a better grommet. Material, hardness and shape were reexamined and the results have been a better grommet which makes regulation easier, tone more consistent , and gives better sustain. Here are the key differences:

• Thicker rubber flange for less distortion and even positioning

• A tighter fit for better dampening and sleeving

• A longer tapered neck which hold the springs in place

• Improved hardness and durability

These grommets will help your Rhodes sing! From stabilizing wavering bass tines, to allowing the upper treble range to sing with ease and often without added clips. Save hours on fruitless regulation when a superior grommet will improve your tone, sustain and ease of regulation. Preferred by top techs for a good reason - there is no equal to these grommets.

NOTE: We don’t offer screws with our grommets for two main reasons. 1.) Stainless screws don’t go bad over time and often modern stainless screws will be of softer/inferior material. 2.) There are several different pitches (threads per inch) used throughout production so there isn’t a universal replacement screw. Using the original screws is the surest way to avoid potential cross-threading of the holes.
