Fender either used a green felt similar to this or more often the red name rail felt for the back rail where the end of the keys fall. 

If you'd like to use the red name rail felt we sell those as well but we prefer this felt as it's slightly thicker and does a better job at absorbing the force of returning keys.

Replacing with this felt can quiet the key action somewhat. It can also help minimize key bounce which can occur and in some cases disrupt the action.

As with almost all our felt products for piano and Rhodes this is the highest quality felt available.
