Peterson Amp Card Kit - Silicon

from $58.50

After servicing hundreds of these little buggers we’re offering a kit so you can do it at home. We kept it at preamp kits for a long time because it becomes a bit more treacherous as the voltage and amperage goes up. Suffice to say, you can definitely blow some stuff up if you do this wrong. And for what we charge to service these amp-cards through the mail-in program - most people will be better off mailing them in.

But if you’re savvy and you’ve got the gear here’s a solid set which (in classic Avion fashion) isn’t outrageously priced.

It includes, electrolytics, high-watt resistors, small-signal transistors (including the 3405) and power transistors w/ insulators. Very basic instructions are included. But really just use the pictures on the site which show where each part goes. This is a silicon conversion so some values will change from the original but it will provide excellent sonics and stable amplification. All transistors are direct swap, same pin-out. A comprehensive kit which should solve almost any amp-card issue. And if you get stuck - the mail-in service is always available. ;)
